This object is a fake potted plant, it's about 2 or 3 inches tall and plastic-y. I got this fake plant for Christmas from my cousin, she's like my best friend and this plant means a lot to me. I think she got it for me because I mentioned that I wanted a small plant in my room but I wouldn't be able to take care of a real one. I couldn't figure out how I wanted to take these photos, I had to take a lot to find the angle I liked best. I like the angle in the second picture the best because it kind of looks like a sun which I think is cool.
This photo is a small wooden egg, it is about 2.5 inches tall. This egg sits on a small metal holder and I keep it in my room on my dresser. I got this egg when I moved into my house about 3 years ago, it used to be my granddads so it's special to me. It was challenging taking these photos because I couldn't get the lighting right so before I edited the picture it was kinda dark. The angle was easy though because I knew how I wanted the picture to look.
This is a small pin that is about the size of the tip of my thumb. Over the summer I went on a 9 day backpacking trip in the North Carolina mountains and I got this pin for completing this trip. Outward Bound is the school that I did this trip through, this pin indicates that I completed the course and graduated. It was hard to photograph this pin because it's so small and it kept rolling around. another challenge was the angle, I couldn't get it right so that the lighting was good.
This is a picture of a small rubber duck named Bib. He came from a claw machine at the mall. My boyfriend and I went to the mall yesterday and found a claw machine in the little kids area an we wanted to get a duck so we went over and got this one. It was hard to get a good angle because I was in the car when I took these photos. Because I was in the car, it was easy to get natural light.
This is a small metal lizard from a wind chime from my old house. This lizard means a lot to me because it reminds me of my first house before I moved. I found it on my dresser and I thought it would be perfect for this project. I got some white paper from my mom's desk and set up the lizard for the photos. It was dark outside at the time I took these photos so I had to take them in my kitchen.
